Frequently asked questions

Cards, sharing, privacy, shipping and returns. If your question is not here, contact us.

Is there a subscription?

No. You pay once for the physical card and keep using it. Creating and sharing a digital card in the Nexcard app is free, with no monthly fee.

A Pro plan (₹999/year) for teams and businesses is on the way. It adds branding and lead export, but the free plan keeps working as it does today.

Does the person I share with need an app?

No. Your card opens in their phone browser, on iPhone and Android. They can call, email, open your links or save you as a contact without installing anything.

How does my contact get saved on their phone?

Your card page has a Save contact button. It downloads a standard contact file (.vcf) with your name, number, email, company and links, and the phone offers to add it to contacts in one step.

Can I have more than one card?

Yes. You can create separate cards for different roles, for example one for your business and one for personal use, and choose which card each NFC card or tag opens.

Can I get my company logo printed on the card?

Yes. The Business card has your business name and logo on the front, plus your name, designation, email and phone. Upload your logo in the card designer before you order.

Can I change my details after the card is printed?

Yes, and this is the main reason to use Nexcard. The NFC chip and QR code point to your online card, not to fixed text. Change your number, job title or links in the app and every tap shows the new details. No reprinting.

Who can see my profile?

Anyone who has your card link, taps your NFC card or scans your QR code can see the details you choose to put on that card. Nothing else from your account is shown. You can disable a card at any time and the link stops working.

Does it work with Android phones?

Yes. Most Android phones from the last few years have NFC. It needs to be switched on (Settings, then Connected devices or Connections, then NFC). If NFC is off, or the phone has none, the QR code on the back of the card works with the camera.

Which phones are compatible?

iPhone XR and newer read NFC cards without opening any app. iPhone 7 to iPhone X can read them through the NFC reader in Control Center. Most modern Android phones work with NFC switched on. See the full list on Compatible devices.

Do I need internet for it to work?

The phone that taps or scans your card needs mobile data or Wi-Fi to open your card page. The physical card itself needs no battery, charging or connection.

Is it secure?

The NFC chip only holds a web link to your card, no personal or payment data. Your card page is served over HTTPS, and you decide which details appear on it. Visitor IP addresses are stored only as one-way hashes for analytics.

How long does shipping take?

Cards are printed after you confirm your order and usually arrive in 4 to 5 working days anywhere in India. Shipping is free on orders of ₹999 and above; smaller orders have a ₹49 delivery fee.

What is your return policy?

Cards printed with your name or logo are made for you, so we cannot take them back unless they arrive damaged, defective or printed incorrectly. In that case write to us within 7 days of delivery and we will replace the card free of charge. Unused non-personalised items can be returned within 7 days.

Full details are in the Terms of use.

I lost my card. What should I do?

Open the Nexcard app, go to Settings, then Devices, and remove the lost card. It stops opening your profile immediately. You can order a replacement and activate it with the code printed on it.

Still have a question?
